Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha first announced to be transgender in high school. Sasha faced a lot of difficulties and was unsure if by the support of his family and music Sasha would be able manage it. Jim and Sasha have been writing together for a while and, recently, formed an official duo. They've performed at open mics in the local area as well as other venues. While The Voice coaches did not talk about Sasha's background, the duo as well as Jim talked about their lives through a short introduction clip that was played prior to their performance. Both Jim and Sasha talked about what music they like and their experiences. Sasha picked up the guitar first at age six. Since his father is a professional music educator, he was better able to grasp the concept. Sasha struggled as a young child with his gender identity. In an earlier post on On Instagram, the young man shared his thoughts and opened up about the challenges he faced. Jim was crying when he revealed the reason of his reasons for not being able to take part. Sasha Allen is a contestant on The Voice. She was born as girl. Sasha Allen's age will reach 19 by 2021. Sasha came out in his freshman year of highschool and began transitioning from female to male. Sasha stated in his Instagram, "I am the third transgender individual to appear on this show, and I'm thrilled to represent transgender people in such a broad platform."
